Stewart sustains tib/fib fracture of right leg ... gonna be hard to hit the accelerator for a while ... guess his run for the Chase went up in smoke! I don't blame him for wanting to run these sprint car races, but that is always the chance you take. Stewart haters can rejoice :lol:, and Smoke fans are disappointed.:blue:

Here I thought this was going to be announcement of a great re-release of a Cheech and Chong classic on DVD/Blue Ray with many, many extras?! Darn it.

That's the second potential Chaser that's out of it this year due to wrecking. Hamlin (at least he was in a Cup wreck) and now Stewart.

Looks like it is Max Papis for The Glen and they looking at someone longer term ... will know after Stewart's 3rd surgery! Yikes! Sounding like he will be out of the car for 6 weeks or longer ...

If it is 6 weeks, then it should be longer ... give it time to heal correctly. Take the rest of the season off, Tony, and do what owners do. Then come back and race next year ...

Every time I saw that Stewart had surgery after the first report, I thought the media kept reporting on the first surgery over and over. I had no idea he's had three so far. I think his season is over.

Holy carp!! Missed this. Been off of Speed and Jayski and Twitter for one flippin' day. And missed it. I wouldn't say I am happy, but I will say it couldn't happen to a nicer guy

I think the 3rd surgery is tomorrow ... There is video of the wreck ... Definitely a hard one. Tony was leading and hit a car that wrecked ... Took out the 3 lead cars ...

Tony loves his Sprint cars. Winged car drivers are all half nuts anyways but I love watchin them. Have wittnessed some pretty horrible crashes over the years watching World of Outlaws sprints.
