Bought this boat and can't identify

It simply breaks my heart when I see a beautiful boat like that covered in snow. The upholstery must be cringing in horror.

I realize not too many people know how to properly set up a boat on a trailer, but that winch stand setup is the worst job I have ever seen.

The redeeming feature about the whole picture is that whoever parked it there had enough sense to keep the outboard motor level.

The boat and trailer certainly have Identifying marks somewhere. If no paperwork came with the boat it is simply a yard planter.

All I have is a handwritten bills of sale. Is that not enough?

It depends where you are if the paperwork you have will work.

Almost certainly not. Just like the registration for your car, it says year, manufacturer and serial number. I don't know of any state that lets you register a motor vehicle with the ID "Boat".

Nevertheless, none of here know the real answer. Call, you local motor vehicle department and ask them.

The picture does not show any registration numbers. Was it ever legally registered? Maybe call the previous owner before you call the DMV.

Brilliant diagnosis. 1F appears to be a Manitoba registration prefix.

Blowing up the original photo was all that was necessary.

So, the OP needs to contact that authority.

Are you Canadian? Is the boat in Canada, if so Transport Canada, Application For Pleasure Craft Licence.
