Universal on Bravo one drive

I've been told that the Universal on my Bravo One Drive is permanently lubricated and that I do not need to remove the drives annually to grease these fittings -- is that true? I have the Bravo one Drives with Merc 502's (year 2000).

yes you can't grease the u joints. The drive should be pulled and inspected for water in the gimbal cavity. once a year. V
