Unidentified boat

I'm trying to help my neighbor identify the make of his boat. We have determined the motor is a 1963 Evinrude and are assuming the boat is of the same era. It's a 16' fibreglass without a capacity plate. All we have to go on is the serial number TS16-3090. I know the TS identifies the mfg. but I'm not familiar with this one. Sorry, no pics.

should be 3 letters for the mfg's code....any chance there is a letter before or after the TS?

Remember the Hull #'s weren't mandatory nor standardized until sometime in the 70's. For instance, my 68 Crestliner Del Rio doesn't have one anywhere in the hull that I've ever been able to find. Just a 6 digit S/N on the dataplate.

Serial number is very clear on the top of the transom onthe starboard side, but there is a slim possibility that it is TSI6-3090 rather than TS16-3090
