underpowered battery

Here I go again with ignition problems. I have a 500 CCA battery in my boat. 175 horse johnson. The book calls for a battery between 360-500. Would it hurt if I stepted up to a 750 like R Johnson said? ( bad power pack)

Unless the weight becomes a problem, I think it is a good idea to have more battery power than you really need, Dragula.<br /><br />Good luck.
