Ultra cool toon- Bennington "Shattered"

We had our dealer show this week and unveiled our newest baddest creation to date, it is a QCW which is our new top of the line boat but this is no normall Benny.

This one has paint, no decals on this one, real paint by Dean Loucks of TAOD design, he is a local guy that is nationally known for his paint, especially on power boats, rumor has it the paint on this boat was $15,000 and is an option if your check book is thick enough, I saw the boat several times back in R&D but didn't see it with the engine until today, WOW, the reason it looks kinda big is because it is a Yamaha 350.

This boat is just totally bad, never ask a sticker price but with the paint, one off tower and engine it has to ever so close to $100,000, I saw a dealer driving off with it but didn't get where his plates were from so it is out there somewhere.

owner $25,000 just for the paint.

Te first guy speaking is Trent Ekoff who is in charge of our design and the next guy is Steve Vogel, Owner/CEO/ President of Bennington, I was of coarse was at the shop building tubes while this was going on.

Does anyone have any specs on the boat? How fast? What HP on the motor?etc. I have to admit that is one slick looking pontoon!!!!!

It is a 25' boat with a Yamaha 350, yes 350, and our ESP elliptical center tube on it, our first 2 tube elliptical boat came out the same time as the 350 did so we put one on that and if memory serves, often not so much, it went close to 60 or he backed off at 60, either way it ain't grampas pontoon.

They are just massive engines, the hood setting on the floor comes almost to my hips, hang weight with no prop or fluids is 803lbs, displacement is 5.3 litres and max fuel burn is 36 gallons per hour.

I wish I had had my phone with me and gotten some pics up close, it was really really cool.

Here is the web page, it has the specs and a build a boat tool that lets you pick all your options and gives you an MSRP, as I said this is our flagship model so "no options" with a 50 it is $38,000 and goes up quickly from there.

The goofy thing is we can hardly build boats fast enough, we are running upper 20's per day all the way through Jan then we get busy, if you caught it in the video 1 of 5 pontoons sold is a Bennington so we have a 20% market share with 45-50 companies making boats in a market that is still off by 40%+, Steve Vogel is very very good at what he does.

And no not all our boats are $45,000+, Our S line is an "entry" level boat and starts at @ $19k.

I am not trying to sell anything here just answering a question, I am paid by the hour not commision.

Yes, I'll take a black "Q" series any day. Maybe if I win the Lotto, or the stock market begins cooperating. Unless "5150" wants to extend us the 25% discount we know he gets !!!

The employee discount is cost +10%+7% sales tax and that is for parts or a boat, I have used it alot for parts maybe someday a boat but it can't be sold for 2 years so as much as I would like to help you out I can't.
