Good luck mod4, you'll need it with this bunch. :D

BTW, I wonder why they have to change their names?

JB didn't.

Is it because they are afraid that someone might write them a dirty email?

I know, it's none of my business.

Well, welcome aboard whoever you are.

You all can be a pretty rough crowd believe it or not! Our 3 nameless moderators want to remain that way so please respect their privacy since without them and JB we would have to turn these boards off - no joke.

I have agreed with every decision the moderators have ever made. When there is a question or an issue they email each other to coordinate decisions. You guys and gals are in good hands.

Re: uh oh!!!, new mod on board.

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm honored to be in such good company and look forward to helping out. I have a lot of respect for the moderating team here and the code of ethics iboats has set forth.

I realize there has been some displeasure with the recent changes to the board and hope everyone has had a chance to vent. We want you to know that we value your input it only helps make this a better place. Each and every one of you is a valued member of this site. We want you to keep posting interesting topics and anything else that floats your boat.

The only thing asked of you is to keep in mind the high level or standards that a business such as this commands. You all know the rules here and I’m sure will abide by them. I don’t want to see this section of iboats disappear. We’ve all made a lot of friends here. That’s why I need your help in trying to keep this forum clean of anything that incites a riot or flaming other members. Admin5 is right; this is a volunteer position and will only last as long as its mods.

Lets have fun in here. I will try to keep my sense of humor and open mind and hope you will do the same.

I look forward to reading and responding to your posts.

Heycods, I realize that you get a kick out of resurrecting old threads, but is there a point? I mean, what's the use? Without a point it seems a bit sophomoric.

It took him awhile, like nearly 6 years but he finally figured out who Mod4 was.
