Hi, my name is Seth. Thanks to Jas and his damnable Islander rebuild thread, I've fallen in love...with Starcraft Cuddy Cabins.

I think it may already be too late.

HALP!

Sorry, Buddy. There is no cure! Fortunately therapy is available from those that have gone before.

I think there may be a lotion for this sort of problem, a cream maybe....

Ah yes, here you are. Just rub in liberally...

This is a good substitute, nearly as effective...

If that doesn't work just wallow in some of this...

Couple of squirts of this with your morning coffee is super helpful...

The Islander model has been my personal favorite since I was a little boy:)

I have had my eye on one here in Michigan for over a year now, tucked away on a farm out in the middle of nowhere. Hoping I can acquire some property so I can store more boats:D

Good luck to ya, will keep an eye out for a good one. Are you leaning towards OB or I/O?

The cure is worse than the affliction but the affliction is much better than itching all the time. Good luck!

Jeremy----

just skimmed your thread. you helped reinforce how much i prefer the "psychic itch" with aluminum boats to the actual itching of grinding old f'glass. here's to ya for takin it on, and it's looking good. i feel for ya with the injury.....currently trying to work with a right shoulder all banged up from dirt bike getoff. it's amazing what you can do one handed with some planning and thought..........

Oh man!!!! I went to town grinding that thing!!! There was sooooooo much to cut, scrape, grind, chainsaw, sawzaw, chisel, poke, stab, and...... shovel the foam!!! But I was soooo happy when I had that thing grinded down to the hull. I was so excited to cut wood and smell the fresh cut/sanded wood instead of fglass! Im gonna try and sand the deck down with belt sander with 1 hand. As soon as I get this video done ill post it up on "fun with foam part 2"

Lol, Yeah ill hafta do that! I borrowed a belt sander from my ole buddy next door. And it is an old old old old sears craftsman. U know, the metal ones that weigh a hundred pounds!... I prob won't even have to put any pressure on it! Im just hoping it has enough power. I had borrowed a old drill, same thing, old sears craftsman. It worked great to do all my mixing resin, PB, Gelcoat, And Foam. But when I was trying to drill thru that ABX Plywood the holes to pour the foam in.... It kept bogging down. So I broke down and bought an 8 amp dew alt corded. (got so sick of charging my dew alt batts)

I'd prefer an IO, I'm sorta sick of dealing with OBs.

a cure for your symptoms is to drive approximately 400 miles and take one of these

http://columbus.craigslist.org/boa/2690601401.html

followed by daily doses of repairs and posting for us every night..........

it's less than the 500 miles you were talking about......
