The first time I read about Sam, the article said “...the judges recoiled in horror when Sam was placed on the table before them.” This happened at an ugly dog contest. Sam won.<br /><br />You can see Sam and his almost-as-ugly girlfriend, Cup Cake (same woman owns/owned both dogs … Sam died) on an episode of ‘The Dog Whisperer’ on the Nat’l Geographic channel.
