U-joint grease

My grand son trying to help me, greased my new u-joints on my ALPHA ONE Gen 1 with spline grease, will I have to remove, clean and regrease or is the spline grease ok? Can it be purged?

Go ahead, 'n purge it out with whatever grease ya wanta use...
