Ok guys, I have recently aquired a Mercury 1992 40hp 2 stroke 4 cylinder outboard motor. It does not have a spare prop so I went looking for one. It seems these came with a prop with a replacable hub or a prop with a fixed hub. I pulled my current prop but cant tell. Have been a boater for well over 50 years and have never had a replacable hub prop and not sure how to identify one...
When I removed my prop, I pushed, pulled, tapped and could not get anything to move that might be a hub. Any help would be greatly appreciated...........
