23' ChrisCraft Chevy350 originally in Volvo penta setup, now in merc Alpha 1 setup.

In this picture there is a wire to what I think is a water temperature sender (at 6:00). Also in the picture at 3:00 are prongs from a sender attached to the top of the engine water pump. Is that for a warning buzzer or is there supposed to be a water temp guage attached to that?
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b365/rebars1/9529635d.jpg

Sorry for all the questions, I'll be getting manals as soon as I figure out what year the engine is. (I'm used to Ford 302's)

The one with the wire on it is the gauge sender. The one on top of the engine circulation pump is probably for a warning buzzer. The 2 wire connection is typical of some aftermarket kits for temp alarms.
