First off, thank you guys for the help and making my boat tinkering day quite productive!!
I'd like to know if it's safe for these charging systems to run two motors on a single battery. If not, is there a way to run an isolator and 'fool' the system into overcoming the voltage loss of the isolator? Maybe there's a better way to get both to charge one battery that's not too expensive or complicated? Ideally I'd like to run one starting batt. and one house batt. and have both motors charge both batteries. I'd use a combiner or relay to isolate the house from the start batt. while not running. If it's not feasible I'll stick to a more traditional set-up.
