Recently bought a 1972 32'Pacemaker with twin 270hp crusaders. The engines are 2007 with carburetors. Navigated it from Jacksonville to Vero Beach with no issues except could not get the starboard engine over 3500rpm. Just thought it would be a throttle adjustment. One month later, the starboard engine won't go above 2500rpm. Its stops accelerating at about half throttle. Rpms actually go down a little if I throttle past half. Any ideas as to where i should start? Fuel filters? Plugs? distributor?

its not the distributor

start at the fuel tank and work your way to the carb. you probably have a fuel system issue. check the stickies for the check list of low WOT

also, do a compression test to rule out a dead cylinder (most likely caused by failing exhaust manifold)

at 11 years old, the exhaust manifolds are way past their life in salt water. were they replaced recently? if not take a look there.

Sounds like good advice Scott. You said to "check the stickies for the check list of low WOT" Excuse my ignorance what are and where do I find the "stickies"? Are those the tabs below your post?
