turning pens

anybody turn pens on the wood lathe? I use to do some bowls and stuff and the finish was fairly easy. what are you using to get that deep deep glossy shine?

Carnauba is definitely the way to go. Formbys makes a great stick carnauba wax in a variety of colors so you can add color and shine in one step.
