We have a 2002 Rinker 310. Our fridge should work on both the battery and the shore power based on fridge specs. We cannot figure out how to switch it to battery power when we aren’t at the dock.

Same boat same fridge. Switches to battery as soon as shore power or generator disconnect. That being said if you leave your boat without shore power for extended time Make sure you turn off fridge at thermostat in fridge or it will kill your house battery

You should also block open the fridge door to melt ice & drain water. Prevent mold. A coffee cup of vinegar sitting in the top shelf will help stop molds.
