Trying to remove trim motor from Mercury.

I am trying to remove and re-seal my trim motor on my outboard 100hp 1991 Mercury motor, but I am having trouble. If anyone has had any experiance with this, is there any way to remove the trim motor without removing the entire outboard motor? Thanks in advance.

Sorry ,but,no.You will need to spread the transom bracket to allow the new unit out and in.
