Last summer I started attempting to land a 180, any hints at how I can make this summer more successful?

Re: Trying to Land a 180

Are you trying to go wake to wake or just over one wake in the air?
To do either it is easiest to start toe side edge and keep the handle close to your hips. Then, when you get in the air your body naturally wants to unwind and with a slight movement of your hands near your hips in the direction you are travelling the boat will pull you straight and you have done a 180' in the air. (please remember to tell the rest of us you crashed a couple times so we feel better)
If you can jump wake to wake toe side then it is very easy to do this as a W2W 180. In fact it might be easier than landing a toe side wake jump.

I have yet to clear W2W toe side. But I was jumping heal side, turning 180 and landing toe side but not W2W. I just need to grow a pair and go for it. Who even thought catching an edge would hurt so bad! Check out waketrix.com. They have step by step video's that are pretty good. Let us know how it turns out!
