Trying to install a starter, have questions.

i just got a starter for my 96 DT25. I pulled it off a parts motor so I have all applicable wiring. My question is: 1. Can I just straight wire the starter to the battery with a push button switch? 2.Does this motor have a charging system to charge your battery Thanks for any help!
