I acquired a Grew boat from a boat bone yard and am having a bit of trouble identifying it. It is a "V" bottom runabout close deck, 18' long with a 6'8" Beam. The guy at the yard didn't have the reg. papers and believed it to be from the late 70 or early 80. I have also had no luck finding the engine's s/n and there does not seem to be a HIN. The only ID I can find is a plate the states it was made by Grew. She runs good so I would really like to know more about her. I have attached pictures if anyone could help.

Thanks
Eric

Re: Trying to identify my boat

Hi Eric:

In the '70's Grew boats from Penetanguishene, Ont. made boats designed by Slickcraft of Holland Michigan; you have one of those. I have a Grew SS 215 circa 1976 and as Grew did not put a serial number on my boat the only way I know the age is from the serial number of the original engine. If you send me a personal message including your email address I'll send you the Grew brochure for 1976 which includes your boat.
