Trying to find good old fashioned Zinc Oxide cream...

I cannot seem to find anything that doesn't have the cod liver oil in it, giving it that slightly fishy smell of Desitin and other diaper creams.

What did we use to use back in the 70s? I don't recall it having any smell at all.

Does anyone know what i can use that will replace the smelly stuff intended for use on baby butts?

I have seen that all over...assumed it has a bunch of other stuff like desitin. Will have to read ingredients next time.

Is that the stuff we used to put on our noses?

Go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for a tube of zinc oxide, and see what you get. IIRC that's where the stuff came from back in the day.

I will ask pharmacist. Maybe they keep the good stuff behind the counter, or in another area of the store.

I have been looking in the baby area and sunblock area.
