Trying to edit Signature

Hi all. I'm trying to edit my signature but I keep getting this error. "Error saving signature: Your signature cannot be longer than 1000 characters including BB code markup: I don't think I have 1000 characters. I don't even know what a bb code is.

Bb code is formatting

So the text color, smilies, and url brackets for hot links all contribute to the 1000 character limit. The 2 big grin smilies are probably 10 characters apiece

The URL links may count twice. Once for the text that's visible IN your signature and again a second time to create the hot link url

And although the sigpic doesnt show, at least not on my end, it probably takes a bunch of space too

TC - You have a mouthful in your sig.

Shoot me a PM with the changes and I might be able make it work. Mods have the same limits on sigs and mine exceeds the limits, but it displays fine.

Thanks guys for the quick response. Maybe it's time to update my sig. I've had that on for awhile. Maybe make it shorter.
