Trying to determine the age of this 14" Seafarer before I start restoration.

To hard to read the placard, maybe a picture of the boat will give the guys an idea of what era/timeline it came from.

Thanks, the boat was originally green as far as I can tell. It may have been built in the 70's hull looks solid. Does need major rehab; but well worth it. Attached are more pictures

Nice project! Is there a hull ID plate on the starboard side of the transom...just below the corner bracket?

As indicated by others, the HID number would be the easiest if no paperwork. Otherwise, as you mentioned It does look like it could herald from the 70s era. Anything on the trailer? Maybe something on registration to give you additional ideas on timeline?

Agree, I have not seen the paperwork or title yet as I have not purchased it. The owner parked it by my barn 5 years ago and it is a leaf catcher now. I am thinking about offering $300 or $400 for the boat and trailer.

I have not seen the title or registration, the owner parked by my barn 5 years ago and only used it once. He is in poor health and wants to sell it. I am thinking about offering $300 or $400 for the boat & trailer. The hull is in decent shape, no dent or visible leak areas. I would like to restore to near original condition as possible.
