I removed my snow plow and wiring harness from my gm truck and now my headlights when turned on are very dim and the high beam indicator stays on. I was thinking that a rely was removed, when the snow plow wiring harness was installed, but I can not figure out from where. If anyone has any thoughts great.

Check the ground wires from the headlights. They should be grounded to the body inner fender or the radiator support. Also make sure you have a good ground from the battery negative terminal to the body/radiator support. Could be that the terminal broke loose from the light itself.

Doesn't that sound like a short somewhere? Maybe not but seems like it to me....

Well I guess it's not popping the fuse so I'm not sure...

Did the truck lights work ok when plow was connected?
Did any wires come loose from the switch that changes from plow to truck lights?
Agree need to check all grounds and areas where plow disconnected as well as inside cab plow/truck switch connections
