I thought I would post this so maybe it would help someone having trouble getting their trailer wiring hooked up right.<br />If your wiring directions are showing different color coded wires than your actual wires like my kit did, there is an easy way to get them hooked up right.<br />USE A VOLT/OHM METER. Hook up the trailer plug to the vehicle plug. Ground the WHITE trailer wire to the trailer tongue. Turn on your vehicle lights. Use the RED probe on the meter to check the wires for voltage. Put the BLACK probe on the trailer metal to ground. You will find there will be two wires that have 10-14 volts. These will be your tail/running lights for the trailer. Do this to find your left/right blinker wires, and brake lights.<br />I hope this might help someone.<br /><br />Billy
