I have a Suzuki DF25 2007 that I have two issues I am trying to resolve,

1. I have 1 cylinder ( the bottom one ) which is not firing, I am under this impression as I ran the motor and pulled the plug wires one by one and the motor did not run any different when the bottom one was unplugged. I believe that it needs a new ignition coil but am not sure how to remove the old one to truly test it as there is a weird clear heat shrink over the connector? do I need to cut this off to try pull one from an upper cylinder to test it?

2. With my motor, it is a remote control setup and the power trim and tilt is leaking hydraulic fluid from around the ram bushing, I have tried to seal it up with JB weld to stop the leak with some improvement but it continues to leak a bit around the seal still The motor goes about half way up still but not down at all unless I release the manual bleed.. This model is a pressed bushing assembly and is (Not Servicable) per the parts diagram. Do I have any options to rebuild this hydraulic cylinder? Are there other manufacturers hydraulic PTT setup that I can change it out too so I can service it in the future?

You could have a bad spark plug, coil, loose or dirty electrical connection, or a problem with the cylinder. Remove the spark plug from the head, hook the wire back up to the spark plug and ground the plug against the engine and look for a spark. If you do not see a spark then try to put a screw driver in the plug wire and the other end of screw driver near metal on the engine and crank it and look for spark. If you still do not see a spark then you will at the very least have to determine if the coil is bad or a bad connection to the coil. If you figure out how to remove the wires you can swap the coils and see if the problem moves to the other cylinder, before you buy any parts. If you have a good spark then you will have to see if there is a problem with the cylinder by doing a compression test, and make sure the cylinder is getting fuel.

As far as the tilt trim cylinder goes you might look around and see if there is someone that does forklift repair that can take a look at it, depending on the cost of a new one.
