Looking for a fresh water large river and lake boat. Thanks.

Re: Trophy Fishing Boats

I own a 96 1703 and it's a sound boat. It has a force 90 but I have yet to have any problems with it. Took it out in the ocean and it eats up waves. I use it now to troll for trout. Mounted a footcontrolled trolling moter to the front and a pedestal seat in the front so in the summer when I bass fish it's just like having a bass boat. As far as construction mine is made very well, all metal hardware in the water was tied together for better electrolisis insulation. Which any quality boat should have. Live well is great. Great storage capacity. Plenty of room for accessories. The only grip was that they didn't put latches on the back hatches so when you are trailering they fly open and your stuff flys out. But a bungie fixes that. Great boat and I would recomend it to anyone.
