I have a 1993 trophy 2302 with 175hp mercury outboard. I would like to change the prop for better performance. I have a rapture 14x21 pitch stainless steel prop. The boat runs a 5000 rpm and 38mph on the gps. The mercury al prop is a 14x19 pitch. Can't get out of way in the hole shot but runs above 5500 at WOT. I am looking at a MW vortex 4 blade 14x20 to replace the rapture. The boat is used mostly on lake erie and pulls a tube with the kids every once in a while. I would like better control in the waves and at crusing speeds.
