Re: trolling plate

Stanstv;

The Protroller Series of Smart Tabs has been met with resounding acceptance in the first few months of introduction. The principle is simple. When you want to slow the boat down you simply move the plates down (vertical) to create brakes. The side benefits are also great. Since keeping a boat tracking straight at slow speeds is an issue (especially when the prop thrust is blocked), having equal drag on both sides of the boat is perfect. Steering is better as well since the pro thrust is not blocked either. You also do not run the risk of over heating your engine by creating back pressure with a plate behind the exhaust. And finally, it you forget to pull the plates up before taking off, they will simply push up not break. Believe me if you leave them down you will find out quickly.
