Trolling Motor Size/Length

I am a newbie to the forum, I have ben reading it for a while but this is my first post. I recently bought a 1989 Crestline V170 Phantom with a 120 hp Evinrude. I am looking to purchase a trolling motor and not sure on what length I should get. I found the formula on the forum for figuring the Thrust needed so would need at minimum 50LB but probably going to go with 55LB. What I am not sure about is should I get the 48" or the 54" length shaft?

I am looking at buying the Minn Kota PowerDrive V2.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the replies. The link was very helpful. I ended up going with the 54" just to be safe.
