I'm using a 12V 34# trolling motor on a flat back canoe only & it has a 2 blade prop. Will switching to a 3 blade prop do anything significant for this or any other size 12V motor?

What are you talking about?
If your wondering about your electric,it may be possible that that motor has another style prop but maybe not.
I have a old stealth 30 TM,came with 2 props.
1 was a 2 blade(speed) the other a 4 blade(cut though weeds better).
I hope you were just messing to get a response.
I would like to see the picture of a 5 blade SS prop on your electric though...

i would try calling Piranha and get a hold of them, they are very knowledgeable and could give you some advice. at least i think they could, because i just switched to them and i love their props and service they provide! 800 235 7767

2 bladed TM props usually give you better thrust and open water performance. 3 blade types like Ninjas are supposed to be better in the weeds. I'll assume you have a MotorGuide motor. I didn't like the Ninja when I had my Motorguide but to each his own. You'll need so much difference in the two on a 34# motor though.
