trolling motor plug

I just got a new motorguide trolling motor (bow mount). My old motorguide has a three prong male plug that fit a bow mounted female plug on my 92 Basstracker.
The new motor has a four 'hole' female plug (some kind of connectpro plug).
What's my best fix option? I have a new three prong male plug and could cut the four hole one off and replace, but that may void my warranty.

Agree with the voiding of the warranty, they look for anything to do that anyway, no need to actually give them a reason.

Contact Motorguide, if they have one end they can probably get you the other.

Did you look in the iboats store for a matching plug?

It's very likely a "twist lock". Available on iBoats, Cabela's, Bass Pro etc.

If you get a 4 prong twist lock receptacle, be aware that the BPS/Tracker branded receptacle (that looks 99% like the Marinco) has a different pin configuration and won't work with a Marinco plug.

I bought one and found it wouldn't work with the plug MG supplied with their motor. Funny thing, the BPS one has Marinco markings, just a different pin configuration.
