trolling moter size

Looking for a new trolling motor and have a couple questions. The boat has never had a trolling motor on it so I have no reference for what size I need. How can I find out how much thrust and shaft length I will need. The boat is a 19 ft bayliner trophy.

Don't know what shaft length you need but size should be the biggest (70lb or more) you can afford.
