I may invest in 2 downriggers if I can figure how I am going to mount them. My boat only has 3 3/4" of flat surface area where I would mount the downriggerand but the low profile swivel base is 5"x5".
If any one has any downrigger mounting ideas let me know.
Until then, I may use a dipsy diver, but what lurers or bait is recommended?
Thanks

i dont know why you would not use the same lures or bait on a dipsy as on a downrigger, i do all the time. as far as the 5x5 bases are concerned, on my old boat i used a 2x6 board across the transom, and mounted the downriggers on it. that worked quite well. hope that helps a bit. good luck.....bob

agree with rc581, attatch a 5x5 piece of wood to
the surface and mount downriggers to that.
