Triumph anchor well

Hey all, so all the other wells on the boat have a 1/4 inch hole which drains into the hull. My thought is drill a hole just up from the bottom of the anchor we'll straight back. Thoughts?

Anchor locker ought to have a drain through hull with a clamshell
