I don't have them, but read up on them a while back. Apparently, they can't(?) be installed over (below) under skinning. They may produce a little more drag in rough water. Those who have 'em, love 'em. But it all depends on the lakes you're going to be using them on (not useable in deep water, of course) - some lakes, EVERYBODY has them, other lakes, NO ONE has them. My research indicates they are a quality product that works as advertised.

Thanks for info , we had the landau co not recommend them As one of their customers installed them and said their boat wanted to dive when speeding up ? Wondering if they installed them incorrectly?Sure would be easier than loading our 23 ft each time we go out on the water . We have been told by sea leg dealers they are loved.

I like the idea, but they weigh almost 400 lbs. that's two good sized people from a capacity perspective.

As mentioned they are heavy, which comes off your load rating and makes the boat run slower, and anything you put under the boat is going to cause drag and slow the boat down and does it surprise you the dealer has never once heard anything negative about them.

You also can't run under deck skinning which will further affect your performance, the only advantage to the them is when the boat is moored, in every other situation they cause a problem, too high a price for the little convenience they provide for me.
