Triple Guard grease substitutes?

I've read many posts on this topic but none have mentioned a couple of products I'm wondering about:

Syl-Glide

Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake lube/assembly grease

Both are water-proof and high-temp, (600?F and 2800?F, respectively). The latter is also corrosion resistant. It's not that I can't go buy a tube of OMC Triple Guard grease, (well, today I can't). It seems, though, like especially the ceramic brake lube provides all of the properties that make the Triple Guard suited for the applications where it is specified. Plus I have both of these products and I've probably spent close to $200 this summer on special lubricants, sealers, and adhesives for various projects.

Thanks.

Somebody here says "Any grease is better than no grease"

I'm about to put the magneto back on and the manual says "Type A" lubricant under the armature plate support and retaining ring. Triple Guard is the current OMC version of that, as I understand it.
