1995, 115hp evinrude. On a recent journey I hit bottom with my engine. When pulling out the engine was stuck in the vertical position. The next day I was able to get the engine to the upright position, but I have to hold the trim control down for a long period of time, and it does'nt respond all of the time. Would this relate to an electrical problem, or is it possible that my hydraulic rods are bent. No problem geting the engine down, just up. Any thoughts?

Also, is there a manual way to raise the engine if the hydraulics fail?

Thanks
