trim worked now wont..

1986 suzuki 55hp with the power trim/tilt mounted on motor. The trim worked fine until i mounted this motor to my boat. it has power and makes noise like it should be working but wont lift the motor. thinking i should try and bleed the air out, but doesn't make sense that it worked and then didnt. any suggestions would be appreciated! thanks in advance!

have you tried up and down? May have reversed the leads

I will have to look at it again.. just got this different motor mounted to the boat and found the trim not working. i will look at that... thank you!
