trim/tilt on my evinrude oceanproo 225 will not go down.

i checked the trim relays and it looks like a wiring issue, but the problem is that the guy working on the boat with me tilted it all the way up and now the engine hood is wedged against the transom. can anybody tell me where the manual release is on this unit?

Look on the starboard transom bracket about half way down for a hole through which you can see a large slotted screw head. This is the manual release. That is if this is a pre-1996 motor. Don't know after that as T&T unit changed.
