On my Mercruiser Bravo 1, 7.4L, Power steering, 15 1/4X19P prop
I have this trim tab.
It is cranked over about 20Deg to the right looking from the back forward.
Pretty sure thats wrong?
If it is wrong where would be a good starting place to try it?
Thanks

Most with power steering don't even run one anymore. You could start by cutting it off.... I think the only way you could really test this properly with power steering is to move it a few degrees each time. Run boat at typical cruising speed, and wait to find the spot where steering doesn't drift with your hands off the wheel. If you don't care about running with no hands, then go back to my first suggestion. They do supply a flat one with no fin as an alternative to power tools.

Ayuh,..... Agreed,..... but it's still an anode, so set it straight back, 'n forget 'bout it,....

if the boat does not pull to one side and tracks straight, then the tab was probably turned to counter pulling to one side.If you are not sure then put it straight and see how it tracks.Charlie
