trim tab question 25 HP

brand new 25 HP merc. tiller arm pulls to the left something awful, making the boat want to do right hand doughnuts in the water...my arm is killing me trying to keep this thing straight..which way do i move the trim tab??how much??

Move the trailing edge of it a little bit at a time in the direction of the pull.

IBNFSHN.....1/8 OR 1/4 INCH ADJUSTMENT. i just played with the trim tab and there is really just about a 1/2 total adjustment...thanx cistn

I adjusted the tab all they way out, (figured i would work my way backwards) after doing this, i found only a smigeon of difference..tomorrow i will try raining the drive up so the shaft is more parrell with the water..not sure if it will help but, i am willing to try anything,,,arm is still killing me ooouucchhh.....
