trim tab/anode

My Hardy 20 foot cabin boat pulls quite strongly to starboard above 6 or 7 knots. The owners manual for the 1992 Honda 45HP motor talks about adjusting the trim tab/anode to starboard if the boat pulls to starboard, and vice versa. Intuitively you would think it was the other way round, if the trim tab acts like a little rudder. Can anyone confirm the manual is right on this?

Re: trim tab/anode

That trim tab equalizes the torque coming off the propeller. It do'es not act as a rudder, and the manual is correct.
