Trim switch on US Marine control

Hello.
I'd just installed my new tach, performed a quick performance check and was cleaning up.
Stepped over the side of the boat to get out and my leg caught the red tilt/trim switch on the side of my US Marine control, pulling the cover out and snapping one of the legs.

Are these things available anywhere?
Or maybe a silicone nodder to cover and hold in the remains?

Apologies if this is the wrong forum. The boat is 1989 Force/Morse throughout so I assume most people here have similar bits fitted.

lots of love
ritchie

If you can't find a replacemet trim switch, there are those that mount to the steering wheel or behind it like directional light levers in a car. That way you don't have to take a hand off the wheel to trim the motor. I like that idea.

You might want to try your local boat dealer they have used ones laying around sometimes that you can get for little or nothing. Got alot of parts for my 1991 Force that way.

Thanks people.
I'll do some digging around the locality.
I know the wiring is fairly simple (3 wires) so maybe it will be simpler to move the switch to a different location.
lots of love
ritchie
