trim sender (starboard) wires

hello, can someone tell me where the trim sender (starboard) side wires connect to , i have 1988 thompson 240 HT alhpa 1 gen 1, replaced motor and for the life of me can't figure where 2 wires from trim sender connect .Now the trim gauge was wired so i followed wire from gauge back to near trim sender wires are ,so 1 goes to one of the sender wires ,but does second wire from trim sender go to a negative ground or positive ? any help appreciated

the engine was the new ... then the trim wiring harness of the back engine ...did the connectors ..
the also was a wiring corrosion ..the engine schematic did the wiring diagrams ..

Trim gauge Brown/White other goes to ground. In many cases the ground comes from the trim pump which has a larger wire going to the block

The trim limit connects to the trim pump Blue/White and Purple/White coming from the throttle handle.

Both usually connect at the trim pump
