So I have an early 80's mariner 80hp S/N 6172279 and I am trying to hook install a trim gauge but do not know where the sender is. There is a limit switch (I think) by the left hand trim cylinder and it has two wires coming out of if that have not been hooked up since I have had the motor. Those two wires have individual plugs on them. I honestly dont even know if there is a sender on this setup. I could find nothing on the trim motor itself except "Marine SAE J1171". Could someone please tell me whether or not I even have the ability with this to hook up a working trim gauge and if so, where are is the sender and the wires. Thanks
