Quick question..replaced both switches with no problem,. Limit is working and gauge is working. Limit worked fine in water today but trim gauge went to full up while in the water while it was down. Got home tonight in the driveway I put the drive full down and gauge reads full down. what gives?

Start by double checking the connections, but you may have just discovered why nobody likes the trim gauges - the just don't work very well.

On the gauge sender there is no polarity correct. Seems not as it functions well in my driveway!

Sender is just a rheostat - resistance changes from one end of the swing to the other. It is not polarity sensitive...

Cool....still weird that it works fine out of water but pegs full up when in the water?
