I have a 2001 Sea Fox with a Johnson 150 Ocean Pro. I found the batteries dead Thursday. When we got a little charge on, we noted that the trim motor was attempting to run and we couldn't stop it. Through some troubleshooting we were able to unplug the cowl trim switch and resolved that issue. Batteries charged and ran around Friday noticing that the trim didn't seem to be working right.
Out of the water; trim motor works for a short time, goes into a slower type run and finally shuts down, only moving a short distance. Let it sit for 2-4 minutes and it starts back up...repeat to get the motor up. So I can trim up to the trailering position but when I attempt to lower, the motor shakes with little hydraulic movement.
Hoping to get pointed in the right direction
Thanks
