Trim Motor Making Noises

I have a 87 Evinrude 110 VRO. When I raise or lower the engine with the power tilt and trim. The trim motor makes a pulsating noise and raises and lowers the motor very slow. I am sure I have the proper voltage and I already replaced the fluid. Any ideas?

How did it perform before the fluid change? Maybe you have air in it. Cycle it up and down several times with the fill screw open. Top off the fluid that escapes. Walk away from it for a while and do it some more later.

I have an 88 Johnson 110. My trim seems slow too and has an uneven sound to it. Maybe I'll try bleading it out too.
