This is way too funny...
2001 Baja with 6.2L MPI
just rebuilt the trim motor......
on the trailer, the owner hits the down trim button....all good
then he hits the up trim....all good
so I button it all up and figure we're good to go.....beers are open
the owner hits the up button....NOTHING.....trailer button all good
I'm crazy now, we had just tested it for over an hour....WTH
(No Don, it was not the trim limit switch which you don't need)
Turns out the boat was too close to the ground to get to the limit area of the switch...
I jacked the front down on the trailer in order to get the stern higher, BINGO
the switch works as it should...
turns out we were not able to reach bottom trim on the trailer at normal height...
Thanks to this site, I was able to figure it out.
